Hello everyone! I am Nathaniel and I’m the Director of Studies at Brown Cow English. I also teach lessons so I hope to meet some of you very soon! You can listen to me here. I started Brown Cow English back in 2010. Having taught in a couple of excellent British Council accredited school in London between 2004 and 2010, I decided to branch out into online learning. What an adventure it has been! I now have the pleasure of managing Brown Cow English’s lovely teachers and promoting the school worldwide. We are growing year on year and now have partnerships with a few physical English language schools in the UK. If you want to study English in the UK too – do let me know. We hope you love learning with Brown Cow English as much as we love teaching you.

Hello! My name is Clarissa and I am a native English teacher from East Sussex in England. I completed my CELTA in 2017 and I am currently finishing my undergraduate degree in Spanish and Italian, but I also speak French and a little bit of German. I have been an EFL teacher for almost four years, and have taught a range of students from all over the world. I have had experience teaching classes and individuals both online and in the classroom, and strive to make a student’s learning experience as good as it can be. I aim to make classes as inclusive and interesting as possible! When I’m not teaching I enjoy singing, drawing and spending time with my cats!

My name is Emma and I live in England near Cambridge.  I have a degree in Art History & Architecture and I got my CELTA training in 2014.  I've been teaching in London for over 5 years mainly Russians and Eastern Europeans but also in the City to Brazilian bankers and Japanese businessmen. I love teaching children too, and helping them gain confidence and fluency. I learned Russian and French so I know what it's like to struggle with grammar and pronunciation! I will help you achieve your goals and tailor the lessons around your interests. We will use YouTube clips and interesting news articles and videos to help you learn and keep it fun and entertaining. In my free time I like to paint, and walk my dogs in the English countryside.

My name is Ben and I am from Manchester in the north of England. I have a degree in Geography and a Master's Degree in Environmental Politics, both from the University of Manchester. I have worked in education for over 6 years, mainly supporting deaf students at a sixth form college. After receiving my CELTA qualification in 2015 I taught English in the Middle East for a year before recently returning to England. I speak a little bit of German and a little bit of Kurdish so I definitely know how it feels when beginning to learn a new language! I love teaching and sharing my language with students excited to learn it. In my free time I like playing and watching football (I am a Manchester United fan), hiking in the hills near Manchester, or playing computer games.

I completed my CELTA qualification with Cambridge University and I have now been teaching English for 3 years in colleges around England. I often teach foreigners, such as asylum seekers, refugees and immigrants.  I also assist young children with learning disabilities with their English skills. I am currently learning how to read and write Gujarati so that I am able to send and receive letters to my grandmother living in India. I enjoy marathon running, cooking and sewing.

Hi, my name is Louise! I'm a Native British English teacher from England (Blackburn). After graduating with a BSc in Psychology, I gained my CELTA qualification. I have been teaching English to children and adults in Turkey for the last three years! I have lots of experience teaching large groups and giving one-to-one lessons. I love meeting and teaching people from all around the world using a range of teaching strategies suitable for each individual learner, but most importantly, I like to make learning fun 🙂

My name is Kevin Greenup and I am a native speaker from Manchester with over 7 years teaching experience. I began my teaching career in Manchester when I gained my Cambridge CELTA and since then have gone on to teach in many different schools and academies in England and Spain. I am also currently studying for my DELTA as I am always looking to deepen my knowledge and understanding of the English language.

Hi! My name's Frances and I'm a Native English speaking teacher from Wales in the UK. I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Philosophy from the University of Exeter and after a short but successful career in the business world I left to pursue my passion for teaching. I qualified as a Trinity TESOL Teacher in 2015 and have taught in Hungary, the UK and most recently Vietnam. I love working with all different kinds of people and getting to share our cultures - I've taught many ages from teenagers to 90-year-olds; students, police officers, pilots, business people, bankers, bakers and even a celebrity or two! Outside of teaching it won't surprise you to learn that I love travelling, but I'm also into hiking, yoga, cooking, art galleries and museums, science and technology, philosophy, learning languages (I speak a little Spanish) and making things (not very well!). Hello, my name is Natalie. Listen to me here. I’m 31 years old and I am an English teacher (listen to me here). I am from the United Kingdom and I am a native English speaker. I live in Holland and I sometimes teach here but I like to work online more as I think it is more fun and I get to meet lots of people every day from different places. I have taught English mostly in Asia; Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. I also worked for a Chinese family in Malaysia where I taught English to the employees which was a great learning experience for me because it taught me a lot about different customs and cultures. I really like to make my English lessons fun and interactive especially with children as I know they enjoy that style of teaching. I love teaching and hope that my passion for teaching and learning can be transferred to the students so that they enjoy it too.

Hello! My name is Harry and I am from Leicester in the centre of England. I studied Finance at the University of Sheffield (listen to me here). After University I decided I didn't want to work in business so I became a Volunteer English teacher in Vietnam. I loved English teaching so much it became my passion so I went back to England and got my CELTA training certificate. I moved back to Vietnam and I taught English there for 2 and a half years. I taught children and adults general English and Cambridge exam English. I love to travel the world and meet new people so I have started Online English teaching. It is useful for both me and my students. My ambition is to study a Masters in Teaching English and then to open my own English school! I look forward to meeting my new students and learning more about them so I can help them to achieve success with the English language!

My name is Sarah and I live in Perth. No, not the one in Australia! The original one - in the centre of Scotland. ☺ I am an English Literature graduate from the University of Sheffield in England (listen to me here) I have been teaching English as a foreign language since 2009 when I gained my CELTA in Norwich, a beautiful cathedral city in the east of England: A long and varied career has taken me to many places – China, Tanzania, Belgium, Spain and Italy. I have taught everyone from North Korean university students to Italian business-people to Spanish children. I am bilingual French-English and I speak fluent Spanish and Italian. I also have some knowledge of Dutch, Swahili and Mandarin.. So I know exactly how you feel when you are preparing for your IELTS or First Certificate exam! Learning English is all about you and I am totally flexible about tailoring your course to whatever your specific language-learning goals may be. In my spare time I explore new places, enjoy the beautiful Scottish countryside and wander around art galleries. Hi! My name is Sara Roden-Scott and I’m a native British English teacher working in Mexico City and on line. Check out an audio recording of me here! I have been working as a teacher for over two years now and I love my job because I get to live in some exotic places and I also meet some very interesting people, especially when I teach on line, from all over the world. As you have probably guessed already, one of my hobbies includes travelling and so on completing my MA, I decided to travel the world before committing seriously to my career. The trip covered four continents, and was organised and funded by myself. This further opened my eyes to a world of huge contrasts, and has possibly been the best education I have received to date, one that I definitely intend to utilise in my working life.

I am originally from Devon in the South West of England and have lived in Southern Spain for the last 17 years. Please listen to me here! I have a BA honours degree in Tourism Management and French and have had a TESOL English teaching qualification since 1999. I have worked in both a real classroom and online classroom environment with children between the ages of 3 and 18 teaching general English, and also all levels of adults from elementary to advanced English as well as TOEFL and Cambridge exam preparation. My teaching methods and style are fully flexible and lessons are tailored to focus on students needs according to their goals and objectives with emphasis on speaking. I believe that learning a language should be fun and like to include a variety of different materials and media in lessons to make them enjoyable and interesting as well as practical. Having studied foreign languages myself, I understand how daunting it can be and the difficulties involved in building confidence, expressing yourself and getting to grips with grammar. I am passionate about teaching English and get a great deal of satisfaction from seeing my students’ progress. When I am not teaching I enjoy reading, skiing, creative writing, visiting new places and of course, learning new languages.

Hello! My name is Camilla. I am from Southern England. Please listen to me here. I gained my TESOL teaching qualification in London and have since enjoyed teaching in an International Language school in London afterwards. I have taught in classrooms and individually with people of many different nationalities, backgrounds, abilities and ages ranging from 16-75! I have a passion for seeing students achieve their goals. I love to give students an enjoyable learning experience. Students must feel relaxed enough to make mistakes in lessons in order to learn and progress. To achieve notable progress in one-to-one lessons I aim to build a positive and open professional relationship with each student. I will cater lessons to your requirements and language learning needs. I also work in accountancy and give piano lessons. When I am not tutoring, accounting, or teaching I enjoy horse riding in the countryside, reading, running and playing badminton and netball. In the last few years I have spent a lot of time travelling in Southern Africa, particularly Zimbabwe.

My name is Brendan. Please listen to me here! I live in Manchester in the north of England. I feel very lucky to have a job doing something I really enjoy, helping others to learn or a new language or improve their language skills. I’ve always been fascinated by languages, I studied French and German when I was younger, and later taught myself some Swedish. Recently I have begun to learn some basic Chinese, and hope to study this language more seriously in the future. I have a Trinity College Certificate in TESOL, and have experience teaching English at all levels to people from all over the world, both in classes and one to one. I can tailor lessons to suit your aims and interests, whether it’s conversation practice to improve your fluency, help with improving grammar and vocabulary or working towards passing an exam. One of my other interests is Yoga, I’m currently training for a Diploma in Teaching Yoga with The British Wheel of Yoga. My eventual aim is to divide my time between teaching English and teaching Yoga. I also enjoy playing guitar, which I’ve done for many years, as well as cycling, climbing, swimming, walking and running. I always try to help my students understand that learning a language is like playing a musical instrument or playing a sport, the only way you can learn to do it well is to practise it yourself.

Hello! I am Lucy-Ann. Please listen to an audio recording of me here. I moved to France with my family in April 2004 and discovered the joys and pitfalls of trying to live life in another language.  Thus,  I successfully completed  a CELTA course in May 2012 and since then I have been teaching English as a foreign language..  Living in rural France has given me an opportunity to teach English to both school age children studying for exams in the French education system,  and adults who are generally learning English for professional reasons.  I have been teaching general English online for a year and find it very interesting and rewarding. I am very much a country girl, having lived on family run farms for nearly all of my life.  My interests include, walking, especially in the mountains, swimming, as a means of relaxation and entertaining friends and family.

Hi, my name is Beth, and I'm from Haworth in Yorkshire, which is in the north of England. I have been working in education for the past eight years with junior students aged between 4 and 11, with a specialism in speaking and reading language development. I have also been teaching adult and junior students online, and have a TEFL certification, as well as an English writing and Latin mixed degree (which is surprisingly helpful with all modern languages!). I now have a range of students from all over the world, mainly from China and Eastern Europe, however previously I have also worked with ESL children in a UK school setting. The origins and rules of language is one of my passions, and I often manage to pass this on to my students! In my free time I like to write and enjoy any kind of creative activity. Hello! I’m Cassie and I am from Nottingham in England; however, I have grown up abroad my whole life in countries such as Spain, Mexico, Denmark and Canada. (Also, I’m half Canadian on my dad’s side). I am fluent in Spanish and am currently striving to be fluent in Mandarin and many other languages. So don’t worry, I know the struggle! I attended the University of Sunderland, gaining my degree in TESOL and Spanish. I then went on to qualify in TESOL and Business English. I have such a passion for the languages of the world and their cultures. I became a teacher with the hope that I can share that passion with all of you and travel the world at the same time. Hi, I'm Henry and I am from England, near a city called Brighton, however I live all over Europe as an online teacher - and a house sitter looking after pets! I trained for my CELTA in 2017 and taught in an international language centre in Slovakia - my students included children, teenagers, adults and working in offices for multi-national companies.

My background is in accountancy and hospitality management, with some time spent at St Andrew's University in Scotland studying astrophysics. I have also lived in France and Italy and speak a little Italian, so I know what it's like to learn a language.
