My name is Ben and I am from Manchester in the north of England. I have a degree in Geography and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Politics, both from the University of Manchester. I have worked in education for over 6 years, mainly supporting deaf students at a sixth form college.
After receiving my CELTA qualification in 2015 I taught English in the Middle East for a year before recently returning to England. I speak a little bit of German and a little bit of Kurdish so I definitely know how it feels when beginning to learn a new language! I love teaching and sharing my language with students excited to learn it.
In my free time I like playing and watching football (I am a Manchester United fan), hiking in the hills near Manchester, or playing computer games.
